Why Van got into Fitness & Wellness

Meet Van

Van was born and raised in Hollidaysburg, PA. As the youngest of three and the only boy, he participated in all kinds of sports and activities growing up, such as Boy Scouts, wrestling, camping, hunting, and so much more.
He graduated high school from Hollidaysburg in 2014. He achieved the Eagle Scout award in June 2014, the highest rank in Boy Scouts. He attended and graduated from Mount Aloysius University with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2018. Van is also a certified Fascial Stretch Therapist, Level 2.
Van is happily married to his wife Emily and currently reside in Duncansville, PA with their new baby, Addison. Van works at Revival Fitness & Rehab with Tyler as a Personal Trainer, Fascial Stretch Therapist, Rehab Specialist, and Performance Coach.
Besides spending time with his lovely wife and daughter at home, Van loves to run and cycle. He also loves to camp, travel, kayak, weight lifting, and like everyone else, eat. If nothing else, you can find him on a cool evening outside by the fire with family and friends.

“Since I was a kid, I felt a calling to help people. Up until I was 18, I had no idea what that was going to be. I started exercising seriously and switched to a healthier lifestyle right after I graduated High School. I met my wife right before college and she introduced me to the Physical Therapy Assistant program, after learning what it entailed and how impactful it was, I knew it was for me. When I was in college, the idea came to me of how I wanted to help people with the knowledge of exercise and recovery.

The recovery process can be a very long and challenging battle. With ups and downs each day, helping people during this time is more rewarding than I could have ever imagined."
